RESEARCH INTERESTS 

  • State-of-the-art structure-determining techniques utilizing synchrotron light: XANES, XAFS, XFS, and UPS, applied to photocatalytic materials. Large facilities used are mainly Photon Factory (Japan), Siam Photon Source (Thailand), SPring‑8 (Japan), and Pohang Light Source (South Korea)

  • Transient spectroscopy: TRMC, TAS, and TRIR, applied to photocatalytic materials 

  • Photocatalytic hydrogen production

  • Photocatalytic biomass valorization 

  • Photocatalytic detoxification of harmful substances
