The editors kindly acknowledge and appreciate the invitation of the editorial office from Future Science for giving us this opportunity to compile a comprehensive book on green chemistry methods. We will also like to extend our most sincere gratitude to contributors and chapter authors for their time and consideration to this project as well as for their general contributions to green chemistry and sustainable technologies. Last, but not least, a big thank you!’ also goes to our Commissioning Editor, Ruth Williamson, who patiently and kindly took us by the hand in the past few months of the development of this monography to achieve an impressive final result, which would not have been possible without such support.
We sincerely hope this book can be useful both to (bio)chemistry, chemical engineering and materials science students, as well as graduates interested in green chemical technologies, and wish the readers an enjoyable and satisfactory reading.
