The CELISE project is an international initiative aimed at promoting sustainable production of cellulose-based products and additives for use in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and rural areas. The project is part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) competition and is composed of five work packages and 83 research stays involving 49 participants from universities, research centers, and industry. CELISE works with a project coordinator in Spain, 9 academic/research partners from Europe, 4 academic/research partners from Latin America, and 5 industrial partners from Europe.
The project aims to provide ecological, innovative, and profitable solutions, and positions itself within the European and Latin American environment of social challenges, utilizing the principles of circular economy and bioeconomy. The project offers a career boost and extensive networking opportunities, and aims to promote open access and international leadership.
