The Solar Chemistry research group, led by Prof. Dr. Juan Carlos Colmenares and co-authors Behdokht Hashemi and D. Lomot from the Institute of Physical Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences, presented their work at the 26th International Conference on Semiconductor Photocatalysis and Solar Energy Conversion (SPASEC-26) and the 27th International Conference on Advanced Oxidation Technologies for Treatment of Water, Air, and Soil (AOTs-27). The conference, held online from October 16 – 19, 2023, featured a diverse range of topics in the field of photocatalysis and solar energy conversion.
Juan Carlos Colmenares’ Plenary Lecture: Prof. Dr. Juan Carlos Colmenares presented a Plenary Lecture on the topic of selective photoredox catalysis using natural-polymer-based nanocomposites. The presentation highlighted their research’s innovative approach in catalytic processes.
The Solar Chemistry research group’s contributions demonstrated their commitment to advancing the field of solar chemistry and photocatalysis, showcasing innovative approaches to address critical environmental challenges.
The research was supported by the National Science Centre in Poland within the OPUS-20 project (project number 2020/39/B/ST5/00076).
