Taking part during the ​„4^th Iberoamerican Congress on Biorefineries” in Jaen, Spain (24^th — 26^th of October, 2018) through the following scientific activities by Prof. Juan Carlos Colmenares:

1. Oral presentation: ​“The integrity of TiO₂ and biochar-based support as a composite photocatalyst for water remediation and organic synthesis”. This work was supported by the National Science Centre (NCN) in Poland within the research project 2015/17/N/ST5/03330.

2. Poster presentation: ​“High value chemicals from lignin model compounds in a photocatalytic microfluidic reactor: TiO₂ vs. ZnO”. This work was supported by the National Science Centre (NCN) in Poland within research project Sonata Bis Nr. 2015/18/E/ST5/00306. 

3. Co-charing the SESSION O9 ​“Techno-economic evaluation, sustainability and LCA analysis”.
