We are thrilled to announce that our team members — Dr. Abdul Qayyum, Dr. Hanggara Sudrajat, and Dr. Juan Carlos Colmenares Quintero — alongside collaborators Dr. Dimitrios A. Giannakoudakis, Prof. Dr. Fernando Colmenares, and Dr. Sam Hsien-Yi HSU — have made significant contributions to the newly released special periodic report,“Nanoscience: Volume 10,” published by the Royal Society of Chemistry.
Their chapter,“Sonochemistry for Materials Synthesis and Catalysis” delves into the transformative potential of ultrasound waves in nanomaterials synthesis and catalytic processes.
This innovative work reveals how sonochemistry can achieve unique material properties that are often elusive with traditional methods.
Techniques such as sonolysis, sonocatalysis, and sonophotocatalysis are at the forefront of this research, showcasing promising advancements in selective chemical reactions and the degradation of persistent organic compounds.
We are immensely proud of our team’s achievements and are excited to see the impactful advancements that will emerge from this groundbreaking research.
