This event honored the 70th birthday of Prof. Thomas Bein and was supported by the Max Planck Institute of Solid-State Research, e‑conversions, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, and the Technical University of Munich.
Hosted at the House of the Bavarian Agriculture in Herrsching on Lake Ammersee, Germany, the conference aimed to bridge porous material design and energy science frontiers.
Leading researchers in mesoporous oxides, carbon, COFs, and MOFs gathered to discuss these theoretical aspects in a Gordon-style conference setting.
Renowned speakers, including Prof. Thomas Bein, Prof. Omar Yaghi, Prof. Roland Fischer, Prof. Thomas Heine, Prof. Susumu Kitagawa, Prof. Peidong Yang, Prof. Karsten Reuter, and others inspired young researchers with their insights. Dr. Manwar contributed to the event by presenting a poster on“Various Carbon Nitrides for Enhanced Photocatalytic Performance.”
